I am not able to go up as often as you, which is ok by me. I understand the need to have some sister time, I know how much you love it up there. That sleepy little town is full of tranquility and peace, one would most likely wish that time would stand still, I know I do.
It is interesting to see the variety of animals that live and visit New Harmony: Dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens, goats, sheep, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, snakes, and even the occasional skunk. I have probably for got some but you get the idea.
We enjoy and use the house, it is not a shrine or delicate possession we keep, but rather a symbol of many hours, days, weeks, months and years of hard work. I recall Gladys’ parents and their home stands as a remembrance of their goodness. They were hard working, honest, god fearing people with lots of friends and a strong posterity. If you were hungry, weary, or in need of attention you could find that at the Whiteheads. I count myself blessed to have known them and think of them often.
I Love You and cherish the knowledge that we will be together.
Always and Forever
DEANAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
