One place of business that I know of in town doesn't put up a Christmas Tree because they are trying to be politically correct. One person said she says "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" because that was the politically correct thing to say. And some Christmas cards that are sent out say "Happy Holidays". You even see Merry Xmas in different places. Are people seriously trying to take Christ out of Christmas?
Christmas is all about Christ so why are people trying to take him out of it? Why are people offended when you say Merry Christmas? I don't get it.

We have great cause to celebrate Christmas because that was when the Holy Son of God became incarnated in the womb of a virgin, was born and grew up in this sinful world being tempted of sin but never sinning, and eventually became the sacrificial Lamb of God who died in our places and took the punishment for our sin when he died on the cross. Christ was raised from the dead and has given us the gift of eternal life. Wow! What a reason to celebrate!
Society may talk of love and sharing. People may talk about Santa and how he symbolizes good and the giving of gifts, but no one can replace the true meaning of Christmas and the greatest gift ever given to this earth and its people — Jesus Christ.
